Short Bio: Prof. Dr. Yaman Sami Shareef Al-Kamaki is a professor of civil and structural engineering at Duhok Polytechnic University, Kurdistan Region of Iraq, where he serves as the Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies. He is also an Adjunct Faculty member at the American University of Kurdistan (AUK) in Duhok. His academic and research interests focus on structural engineering, particularly the behavior, assessment, and strengthening of reinforced concrete structures using advanced composite materials such as fiber-reinforced polymers (FRP). Prof. Al-Kamaki has made significant contributions to teaching, research supervision, and the development of postgraduate programs, and he has authored and co-authored numerous scientific publications in international journals and conferences in the fields of reinforced concrete, structural rehabilitation, and innovative strengthening techniques using FRP.
