Short Bio: Dr. Sirwan Khuthur Mala was born in Erbil, Iraq, in 1975. He received his BSc in Civil Engineering in 1997 from Salahaddin University–Erbil. He continued his academic studies at the same university, obtaining his MSc in Structural Engineering in 2006 and later his PhD in Structural Engineering in 2014. Dr. Sirwan interests focus on construction materials and structural engineering, and he has co-authored several research papers in the field of structural engineering. He currently works as a lecturer in the department of Civil Engineering at Salahaddin University-Erbil.

He is also an active member of several professional organizations, including the Kurdistan Engineering Syndicate, the Kurdistan Teachers Union, and the Iraqi Concrete Scientific Society. Through his teaching and research activities, he contributes to the advancement of civil and structural engineering education and practice in the region.
