Short Bio: Assistant Prof. Dr. Farsat Heeto Abdulrahman is the Dean of Engineering at the University of Zakho (UoZ).

He earned his Ph.D. in Engineering Surveying and Space Geodesy from the University of Nottingham (2013),

UK. He established the Surveying Engineering Department at the University of Duhok (UoD) in 2016 and has

held various leadership positions. His research focuses on GPS/GIS integration, laser scanning, space geodesy,

photogrammetry, and sensor technologies. He has published over 30 papers and serves on several editorial boards.

About Aci-Kurdistan Chapter

The ACI chapter of Kurdistan is a recently establisehd branch of ACI, which cover the geographic region of the southern kurdistan which so called (Iraqi Kurdistan region). The main goal of the chapter is to merge our knowledge about the concrete with the most recent standards and specifications. Also, the Kurdistan chapter makes a strong tie between the universities across the Kurdistan region.
