Short Bio: Dalshad Kakasor Jaff was born in Erbil (Iraq) in 1960. He received the BSc. degree in civil Engineering from Salahaddin University-Erbil in 1982, MSc. degree in Structural Engineering from Salahaddin University-Erbil in 1986 and PhD. degree in Structural Engineering / Construction materials from Baghdad University in 2000.

His fields of interests include the following:

Structural engineering behavior of reinforced concrete and Steel structures.
Construction materials properties.
Non –destructive tests of concrete structures.
Evaluation of existing structures.

About Aci-Kurdistan Chapter

The ACI chapter of Kurdistan is a recently establisehd branch of ACI, which cover the geographic region of the southern kurdistan which so called (Iraqi Kurdistan region). The main goal of the chapter is to merge our knowledge about the concrete with the most recent standards and specifications. Also, the Kurdistan chapter makes a strong tie between the universities across the Kurdistan region.
