Short Bio: Dr. Ahmed Salih Mohammed received his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department from the University of Houston, Texas, USA in December 2014 with a GPA of 3.75/4 and a Postdoctoral fellow researcher in Civil Engineering/ Smart Materials at Civil and Environmental Engineering Department in University of Houston, Texas. He has researched in the areas of materials engineering, drilling muds, and geotechnical engineering. His cutting-edge research was in developing hydraulic fracturing and smart cement for oil well application. He also developed smart drilling muds for application in the petroleum and geotechnical fields. He integrated the advances in nanotechnology, polymer technology, concrete technology, and expansive clays.J.
